Markus Rothkranz and Cara Brotman

Markus Rothkranz and Cara Brotman are examples of the kind of people I like to surround myself with.

This past weekend they gave a talk, food demo and YUMMY food tasting here in Vegas.

What a treat!

I have met Markus before a few times and he is always a pleasure to listen to.

Both Markus and Cara are artists in what they do and how they live their lives.

Markus talks about how he was sick and dying as a younger man and got to the point of complete surrender. He gave up all of his successes and material belongings, stripped naked (literally and figuratively) and walked into the dessert where he was determined to either die or realize some answers.

He came back bearing a new found connection to his body, the plants and the world around him.

He shares with us, his knowledge on just how much goodness there is growing in the wild plants all around us. Almost always, the wild plants growing around us are just the things our bodies need to nourish and heal.

Cara makes beautiful looking and amazing tasting food, all with nourishing, health promoting ingredients. Markus and Cara have just recently released one of the most beautiful raw vegan recipe books out there called LOVE ON A PLATE.
